Job Description

JM&A Group's Performance Development Center (PDC) was started in 1997 to support the training needs of dealers’ F&I departments. As the industry grew, so did our programs, and today the PDC is proud to support the ever-changing needs of dealers, including new and used vehicle operations.


Our Trainers and Consultants have an extensive retail background and are well versed in sales, finance, fixed operations and total dealership management.


We have a current opening for a PDC Sales Trainer. This position will train Virtual and Instructor led courses for our F&I, Sales, Service and Associate development classes for JM&A Dealer Partners and Field Teams. Responsibilities include:


  • Provide training for dealership Sales, Finance and Fixed Operations classes, as well as JM&A Field Associate courses
  • Collaborate with Dealership Management and the JM&A Field to ensure that training goals and objectives are met
  • Work as an in-store consultant for dealership's Variable and Fixed Operations departments, evaluating current processes and providing on the spot coaching/training
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for courses developed by the PDC's Program Strategy and Curriculum Development Team


Job Requirements

  • Must have 2-5 years of Sales or F&I automotive retail experience required, with Fixed Operations experience a plus
  • Ability to train, consult and guide retail Dealership personnel on JM&A Sales, F&I and Service processes
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and associates at all levels.
  • Bi-lingual, knowledge of AdobeConnect and Web based training applications a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time domestically, with the possibility of international travel is required
  • No relocation required
