The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. The program is a 10 week paid internship located in Deerfield Beach, FL. Students must be available to intern from June 4 - August 10, 2018. Students in the program will actively contribute to their team's success, learn about JM Family's company and culture and obtain new skills through learning opportunities and networking events. The individual selected for this internship will be responsible for supporting their department in a variety of functions and will have exposure to activities related to the department's initiatives. The intern will also gain access to professional development opportunities through the internship program. Some of these opportunities include business presentation skills classes, lunch and learns and career readiness workshops. 



Job Description

The individual selected for this internship will be responsible for supporting the Jim Moran & Associates Field Service Operations department. This internship will provide the opportunity to support the team in a variety of daily functions and projects.


Job responsibilities may include:

  • Updating training content/modules
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations to be used to support the training content
  • Creating a series of KAHOOT training quizzes for each of our products that will be used for development the dealership personnel
  • Creating Fixed Operation Technology Hot Sheets
  • Researching competitor companies Fixed Operation offerings
  • Administrative operational support and other departmental support as needed
  • End of Internship Presentation

Job Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university in Instructional Design, Curriculum Design or Training & Development
  • Relevant completed coursework in Curriculum Design and Creation preferred
  • KAHOOT or related technology experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
