    Job Description

    The Instructional Design Manager leads an Instructional Design Team focused on developing learning experiences for clients and internal Associates.  This position is expected to leverage sound Instructional Design and Adult Learning to manage the design and development of learning content delivered through various delivery channels.

    Principle Responsibilities:

    • Manage Instructional Design Team with coaching and performance review responsibilities.
    • Assess and analyze training needs to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
    • Establish and monitor quality assurance processes.
    • Create client proposals and present training programs and options to clients.
    • Apply instructional design methods and adult learning principles to ensure that course design and content meet learning goals.
    • Develop and maintain project plans and estimates for conducting instructional design and development projects.
    • Monitor and maintain project documentation relative to project scope, milestones, and budget.
    • Create business cases and cost/benefit analysis as part of the project life cycle.
    • Drive the continual evolution of instructional elements to increase learner engagement and interactivity
    • Align and prioritize projects with department and organizational strategy
    • Evaluate effectiveness of training through defined evaluation plans and processes
    • Manage competing priorities and simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Oversee implementation of Learning Management System

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Design, Educational Technology, or combination of relevant degree and work experience.
    • Minimum 5 years experience in managing instructional design teams.
    • Minimum 3 years proven work experience in project management.
    • Deep instructional design knowledge and the ability to translate complex content and design theories into relevant, engaging, applicable adult learning experiences/offerings
    • Experience designing learning experiences for adult learners leveraging Instructional Design Methodologies.
    • Experience managing remote Associates with varying levels of experience and skill sets
    • PMP and/or CPLP preferred
